1. Website Purpose and Scope

This site helps users understand Shadowrocket features and how to use the app. Tutorials do not guarantee results for any particular network environment, server status, or connection. Actual performance depends on the device, system settings, current network, and configuration of services the user already has.

Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app available exclusively on Apple platforms, with guidance focused on iPhone and iPad. Compatibility, system requirements, and purchase availability for Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision are as listed on the App Store page. Instructions for one device should not be assumed to apply to another.

2. App Purchases and Service Boundaries

A one-time app purchase is not a network service plan. Purchasing Shadowrocket grants the right to use the app; it does not provide servers, connection credentials, or a subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscriptions, or configure or store users’ service accounts.

Tutorials involving Subscribe or Add Server assume that users already have their own subscription or server details. Users should verify the source, authorization, and validity of that information. Service availability, fees, expiration dates, and related disputes are subject to the agreement between the user and the relevant service provider.

3. Documentation Accuracy and User Responsibilities

Tutorials reflect the interface and features that could be verified when they were written. App screens, field locations, authorization flows, and system prompts may change between versions, so the content may not match every device exactly. If something differs, check the in-app guidance and system prompts before proceeding.

Rule snippets and parameter examples explain syntax; they are not complete configurations for every environment. Before changing Config, Global Routing, or DNS settings, keep a copy of the original configuration and make sure you understand each change. Replacing settings in bulk may alter existing routing behavior, so make and verify changes one at a time.

Connection interruptions, data loss, and other effects caused by device differences, unavailable services, input errors, or incorrect configuration should be assessed based on the circumstances. This documentation is not a substitute for technical diagnosis of a specific setup. Before sharing troubleshooting details, remove passwords, subscription URLs, and other access credentials.

5. Appropriate Use and Support

Users must comply with applicable local laws, network use policies, and service terms, and use the app only with devices and services they are authorized to access. This site’s guidance is not legal advice and does not replace users’ judgment about their intended use or authorization.

For help with app usage, start with the FAQs, then follow the setup guide to check each step. For purchase restoration and App Store verification, see purchase restoration.
